Lindsay Lohan slips into negligee in new clip for The Canyons... but fails to set the screen alight
It recently emerged that Lindsay Lohan was paid just $100 a day for her new movie The Canyons.
And unfortunately for the troubled actress, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise in a newly released preview of the film.
The clip sees Lindsay’s character Tara attempting to sneak off in the early morning without waking Christian, played by porn star James Deen.

Wearing just a sexy silky cream negligee, Lindsay creeps out of bed and attempts to find her phone.

The redhead then realises it is located in a drawer next to James’ head, and just as she is fishing it out, he grabs her arm and startles her.
When Lindsay asks why he has hidden her phone, he turns on her, throwing her against the wall and screaming: ‘I know about you and Ryan.’

They lock horns in the scene, and an audio clip leaked from the set of the film revealed that things weren’t much different when the cameras stopped rolling.
The audio, obtained by TMZ, was captured on the third day of production and Lindsay is heard blasting her co-star in the footage.
Director Paul Schrader can be heard telling the pair to walk through a scene and 'take it all the way to the kiss... because that's certainly going to be important.'

When the scene goes wrong, a furious Lindsay blasts: 'No, can you do it ... Please James, say your line as you're walking over ... cause we're doing rehearsal ... do your f***ing job.'
James attempts to defend himself, however she cuts him short: 'I didn't say anything, I said just walk over ... and do your f***ing job.'
The director is then heard saying: 'Alright, I've had it ... I'm tired.' Lindsay adds: 'So have I.'
Lindsay will no doubt be hoping that the film, with a script penned by Bret Easton Ellis, will be the comeback she so needs.

The dramatic movie will also see Lindsay in a four-way sex scene with three porn stars, including James, but that didn’t increase her paycheck.
The low wage must have come as a blow to Lindsay, particularly as it has been reported she owes $40,000 in unpaid wages to a former assistant.

‘Lindsay actually also borrowed money from the assistant for her own living expenses,’ a source claimed to Radar Online.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old was a no show in court on Tuesday, as her lawyer entered a not guilty plea to three misdemeanour charges on her behalf.
Her attorney Shawn Holley entered the plea during a brief hearing on Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Lohan is accused of lying to police, reckless driving and obstructing police from performing their duties following a June accident in which her sports car slammed into a dump truck.
