Arpita Bansal, an entrepreneur, and Sandeep Kumar, Director, Ru Ba Ru hosted a High Tea event at Ciro’s Pomodoro, New Delhi on February 9th, 2013. Bringing together socialites, fashion enthusiasts and who’s who of the Delhi-NCR circle, the tea party was organized to announce the association of Atelier with Ru Ba Ru Miss India Elite 2013 contest.

Collaborating with Ru Ba Ru for the beauty pageant, Atelier aims to create awareness about the social issue of female foeticide in India. The association of Atelier and Ru Ba Ru is an effort to stop the evil practice and bringing it to notice in a light and innovative manner. Arpita Bansal strongly believes that women today are strong willed and independent and such events can help in creating a social structure that discourages practices like female foeticide and help the country come out of the trap of girl-boy inequality.

Arpita Bansal, entrepreneur, strongly believes in the cause of women. A successful woman herself, she wants to give back to the society and make a difference. On joining hands with Ru Ba Ru Miss India Elite 2013 contest, she stated, “We hosted this gathering to create awareness about female foeticide, which is still a menace in the society. With this beauty pageant, we want to educate people and raise a toast to women. We are really thankful to the people who supported us and attended this event to make it successful.”

Adding to the same, Sandeep Kumar, Director, Ru Ba Ru commented, “The main motto of this pageant is to generate awareness among people about the killing of unborn girls (FEMALE FOETICIDE) an alarming and frightening reality. The tea party was attended by socialites, celebrities and who’s who of the Delhi-NCR circle with great enthusiasm.
