The mum-to-be suffered a serious style malfunction in a black longsleeved top that failed to give her bulging assets enough support.

It also gave onlookers more than just a hint of what was underneath.

She paired the top with a billowing skirt that did nothing for her maternity curves.

The mum-to-be chose to give the bizarre combination an airing as she headed to Fred Segal with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney.

The other Kardashians chose more sensible garb for the outing in LA – though Khloe and Kim seem to agree on their choice of footwear, turning up in identical heels.

The star – who is expecting her first baby with Kanye West in July – is said to be panicking about her figure and is considering surgery.

Her aunt Joan admitted her curvy niece is trying all she can to keep the pregnancy weight gain to a minimum.

She said: “She can have a tummy tuck, which will take care of most of her weight fears.

“The family’s trying to convince Kim to relax and worry about losing the weight months from now.

“Other than her belly, which is still rather flat, every part of her body has ballooned.

“And this is with Kim holding to a strict diet. Imagine if she let herself go?”

Kim has frequently been snapped visiting the gym during the early months of her pregnancy.

Fears were sparked that she was overdoing it this month when she was rushed to hospital amid concerns for her baby.

Kim – who reportedly fell ill on a flight from Paris to Los Angeles – was ordered by doctors to rest and avoid too much exercise.

Her cousin Cindy Bahr added: “She’ll work 12-hour days. And she’s been told to do moderate exercise only three times a week.”
