AMY Childs looked anything but heartbroken as she lazed by the pool in sunny Spain yesterday. The 22-year-old, who split from boyfriend David Peters just two weeks ago, couldn’t stop smiling as she showed off her incredible bikini bod in a tiny pink bikini in Marbella.

Former Take Me Out contestant David recently told how he has been left devastated by the end of their year-long romance.

And he revealed he had been planning to propose to the flame-haired ex-TOWIE star on holiday this summer. David, 27, told new! magazine: “I’m heartbroken. I wanted to spend my life with Amy and I never had that before.” Asked if he had thought about popping the question to Amy, he added: “A million times. It was something we talked about…  “I’ll be honest with you, it would have been soon. During a summer holiday would have been a great proposal, I reckon.

“I’ve had an idea how to do it since forever, because I wanted to make it really special.” But while personal trainer David claims to be nursing a broken heart, Amy, who has yet to talk about the break-up, was hiding any heartache well as she soaked up the sun and sipped champagne at the Sisu Boutique Hotel in Marbella yesterday. Amy, who jetted to the resort with a pal on Sunday, appeared happy and relaxed as she sunbathed poolside in her teeny glitter-studded bikini, which struggled to contain her surgically enhanced assets.

It has been claimed David and Amy made the mutual decision to split after weeks of blazing rows. And it was said tensions in their relationship were made worse by Amy’s ex Kirk Norcross’ recent revelation that he is still in love with the salon owner. Confirming the couple’s split last week, Amy’s manager Claire Powell revealed: “Amy’s been in the Far East for work and when she returned last Wednesday night, she and David broke up.

“They haven’t been seeing as much of each other as Amy has been manic promoting her swimwear range.

“Amy is really upset over the split.”
