President Bill Clinton heads to Golden Globes after bash with Kate Hudson after earning standing ovation at awards ceremony
He stole the show, and he's not even an actor.
In what may be one of the most memorable moments of the show, Bill Clinton shocked an audience full of Hollywood heavyweights as he appeared at the Golden Globes to present the film Lincoln before ending the night in style, partying with Kate Hudson.
The former President attended the after party at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood and spent the evening rubbing shoulders with some of Hollywood's finest.

Bill proved to be a celebrity himself and was asked for his autograph as he left the bash.
The 66-year-old politician was given the VIP treatment and was escorted home in a full police convoy.
Bill had been seen at the Sunset Towers after-party alongside the likes of Eva Longoria and Golden Globe winner Anne Hathaway.

Kate made a stylish entry to the party in her decadent Alexander McQueen gown, with film director Brian Glazer on her arm.
The Splash director looked dapper in a smart black suit, a crisp white shirt and a black tie.
The actress cut a stylish figure in the plunging gown and carried the train of the garment in her hand.

Earlier in the evening Mr Clinton introduced Lincoln, the film chronicling the fight to abolish slavery, and joked about his experience passing through unpopular legislation.
'A tough fight to push a bill through a bitterly divided Congress. Winning it required the president to make a lot of unsavory deals that had nothing to do with the big issue. I wouldn't know anything about that,' he said.

His appearance impressed even the most famous actors, as several were seen taking pictures with their cell phones while Mr Clinton was on stage.
After announcing his name the cameras cut to the crowd, who immediately jumped to their feet to honor the former president.
Girls star Lena Dunham looked visibly shocked to be in the same room as Clinton, and Taylor Swift peered up at the stage in tearful adoration.
'What an exciting special guest -- that was Hillary Clinton's husband!' host Amy Poehler exclaimed.

It wasn't only the stars in the room who were moved by the introduction, but also his fans in the Twitter universe, as the Twitter spokeswoman Rachael Horwitz reported that it was biggest moment up till that point of the night with 18,700,000 tweets per minute.
Democrats are frequently slammed by their Republican counterparts for being too close with famous fundraisers in Hollywood and the former president's appearance served as just one more example.
Adding to the perceived Democratic favoritism, Game Change won as best motion picture made for television and it's stars Julianne Moore and Ed Harris were awarded their own honors.
Moore already won an Emmy for her portrayal of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, but tonight also won a Golden Globe.

Criticism: Right wing blogger Matt Drudge found the left-leaning appearances to be all too much
She used the stage as a time to make a statement about Palin, saying that Tina Fey and Katie Couric were to thank for the results of the 2008 election for their skewering impression and interview of the former Alaskan governor respectively.
Though that film aired in March 2012, it still qualifies for this year's Golden Globes, raising the political questions that it prompted months ago.
Right-wing blogger Matt Drudge was one of the first to critique the move, saying that it just showed that Washington is too coupled up with the Hollywood stars.
